JAKE BAZEL

 
 

Jake Bazel is a puppeteer, voice actor, writer and coach with over a decade of experience working in children’s media. Most recently, he originated the role of Winnie the Pooh on stage in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation in both its New York and London premieres. In 2021, he teamed up with the Kidscreen Award-winning interactive platform Hellosaurus as creator, producer, and performer on Duncan the Skunk and the Big Costume Trunk!, a 30-minute interactive musical special introducing kids and their families to the world of theatre.

(Dodo Kids), zivaKIDS, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, Paddington Gets in a Jam, Sandra Boynton’s Frog Trouble, Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train Live!, Sesame Street in Communities, and various ad collaborations with The Mill.

Jake has directed two national tours of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, and puppetry directed its international tour. He often serves on faculty at the Highlights Foundation, working with authors for young audiences. As an Animation Voice Acting Coach, Jake works alongside Sunday Muse at Great Big Voices, at Edge Studio in NYC and as a featured speaker at the Mid Atlantic VO Conference.
