JOVAN DANSBERRY
Jōvan Dansberry is a St.Louis native who received his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Now based in New York City, Jōvan is a performer and choreographer in both the theatre and commercial sectors, as well as a professor of dance at Rider University. Broadway/Tours: Bob Fosse’s Dancin, Wicked, King Kong. Theater: The Metropolitan Opera, Roundabout Theater Company, New York City Center. TV/Live Performance: “SNL!”, “The Tonight Show”, The Tony Awards, “POSE”, “Up Here.” Outer Critics Circle Special Achievement in Theater. Jōvan is excited to begin a new creative journey as an Associate Choreographer with The Preacher’s Wife at The Alliance Theater in Atlanta and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil at the Goodman Theater in Chicago both opening this summer.
