SAMMIE DENHAM

Sammie Denham is a dynamic dancer, choreographer, creative director, and instructor based in New York City. With over 15 years of experience, she has built a diverse career spanning live stage, television, and film. Sammie has performed with notable artists like Elise Estrada and Mariana’s Trench, graced prestigious events such as the Pan American Games Closing Ceremonies and Broadway Bares in NYC, and appeared in television and film including The L Word and The Layover. Her international career includes starring in three original Royal Caribbean productions created by Montreal’s Moment Factory. A standout highlight was The Fine Line, an innovative outdoor aqua show where she was part of the original cast and creation team as the dance captain, showcasing her talents as both a dancer and aerialist. Sammie’s choreography seamlessly blends athleticism and artistry, earning her international recognition. Most recently, she served as an associate choreographer and director for Royal Caribbean Productions, contributing to four original shows: Aqua Action, InTENse, Aqua80, and The Book. She has also worked with top brands like L’Oréal and Miss World Canada, and her full-length choreographic piece, Dances on Water, premiered as part of the Sechelt Arts Festival's 20th Anniversary in Canada. Passionate about education, Sammie has taught at renowned institutions worldwide, including Vancouver’s Harbour Dance Centre, New York City’s Joffrey Ballet School, and the UK’s House of Jazz Company. She is excited t join the faculty at The Performer’s Circle, continuing to inspire the next generation of dancers.
